EU3000: Draco Racing Brno qualifying notes

Augusto Farfus and team Draco had the best strategy in qualifying for the Czech race today, in Brno, and secured a strong pole position, their 5th pole on 7 rounds.

In bright sunshine qualifying session was interrupted after one lap due to the exit of Matteo Cressoni, who finished on the grass, but from lap two onwards the session continued without other interruptions. Brazilian Augusto Farfus was one of the driver to make best use of the track and tyres conditions and claimed his 5th fastest lap of the season. He also clocked the RECORD of Brno track.

German Heidfeld after a productive testing day, on Friday, was not able to take full advantage of his new set of tyres and managed to finally qualified 7th.

Sven Heidfeld (car #7) - P7 on the grid "I suffered of some understeering problem with the new set of tyres. I was really confident in a good result here because we worked well yesterday and this morning too, so me and my team were hoping for it. I think that the first step I have to work on is to improve my performance with new tyres".

Augusto Farfus Junior (car #8) - POLE POSITION "We have worked hard but the result has arrived! I have to admit that Mr. Morini is perfect with strategies and he helped me a lot to have a F1 qualifying. I want to thank a lot my engineer and the all team! I'm really happy today".

Adriano Morini (Team owner): "This was the best qualifying of Augusto, that has literally made his bigger competitor mad".

Nadia Morini (Financial manager): "I'm absolutely delighted about this pole position and it is like Team Draco first one".
