Double Podium for Turvey in Romania
After becoming the inaugural winner of the Mirror.co.uk British F3 Challenge Cup a week ago Oliver Turvey confirmed his position at the top of the British F3 Drivers Championship Table with two second places in Rounds 19 & 20 of the 2008 British F3 International Series on the streets of the Romanian capital city Bucharest. Turvey holds a 12 point advantage over Spain's Jaime Alguersuari with 42 points still available at the final two races at Donington Park on Sunday 10 October.
Max Chilton has almost secured the runners up position in the Mirror.co.uk British F3 Challenge Cup after taking 10 points from the two races in Romania and now needs just one more point in the first race at Donington Park to finish the season ahead of Nick Tandy in the British driver's standings.
Jay Bridger was crowned British F3 National Class Champion in Romania after taking two podium finishes in the races and has moved ahead of International Class driver Henry Arundel in the British driver's standings.
