WPS BATHURST 12 HOUR - HOUR THREE
As the third hour and first 60 laps of the 2008 WPS Bathurst 12 hour wound up, the VIP Petfoods #29 entry maintained the race lead.
Klark Quinn held the lead for the past hour, setting his fastest lap of the race on lap 57 with a 2.32.2987s, while former race leader Damien White still maintains the fastest of the race with his 2.31.7582s set on lap 19.
In the closing minutes of the third hour, Quinn pitted to take on fuel and allow Grant Denyer to take the wheel, and with a handy 40 second lead over second place, currently Craig Baird (#20), built up over the past hour Denyer rejoined without sacrificing the team's race lead.
The battle for second has been fierce, with Trevor Symonds and Craig Baird battling it out.
The Holden Sportwagon is currently still under appraisal from its second hour race incident with the #68 Lotus Exige and is yet to make a comeback to the track, while Alan Shepherd's Mazda is undergoing a brake change and is expected to return shortly.
