Team Modena Target Home Success
Team Modena will be aiming to continue their strong LM GT2 class form in their home round of the Le Mans Series at Silverstone this coming weekend, the final race in the 2009 LMS season. The British squad have won their class twice in the last three years in the UK round of the championship, having finished second on the other occasion, and are determined to once more show what they can do on home turf.
With a strong driver line up of Antonio Garcia, Leo Mansell and Jaime Melo, the team will be hunting their elusive first win of the 2009 campaign - their Ferrari having been knocked off the track by another car when running a close second in the previous round in Germany last month.
"The car is good and we are looking forward to our home race," says Team Principal Graham Schultz. "The car was undamaged after the Nurburgring race, the impact only split a tyre, and we are aiming to continue our good record in our home round of the LMS."
