Jacques Villeneuve joined Lucky Strike B.A.R Honda for their second day of testing in Barcelona. He completed 43 laps in the BAR004 while Anthony Davidson, driving the BAR003 for a second consecutive day, completed a total of 91 laps.

Jacques Villeneuve:
"We've encountered a minor problem today but generally things are more positive than negative. The chassis is much stronger, we should start to see some aero improvements soon and of course we have yet to test with the full Melbourne spec engine. It's very hard to judge what everyone's doing with their new cars at the moment though."

Anthony Davidson: "I've had another good day, continuing the work I began yesterday. I completed a total of 91 laps - focusing on consistency rather than speed and I have been working on some tyre testing as well. Generally I am very pleased with today's programme."

Malcolm Oastler, Engineering Director:
"Today has been a very useful day despite a mechanical problem which has limited our running time with the new car. However, we managed to put some good miles on the BAR004 during the afternoon session and will continue with that work tomorrow."
