McLaren's David Coulthard tells what he's up to in the summer break

Q: Are you going on holiday during the three-week break?

"Yes, after doing a couple of promotions during the first week, I will now be spending some time relaxing on my yacht in the Mediterranean with Simone."

Q: Even though you are not racing, do you still have to continue with your training programme?

"Yes, it is important not to let your fitness slip. Even when we're not racing or testing I continue to work with my trainer, and when I am on a break with Simone I also stick to a training routine."

Q: Do you think that the three-week break is a good idea?

"The season is so busy and we test all winter, so it is nice to have a bit of a break during the year. It is also great to go into the three-week break on the back of a good result such as I had at the Mobil 1 German Grand Prix."

Q: What do you like to do to relax?

"I like to try and 'get away from it all', which can sometimes be pretty difficult to achieve! That's why I enjoy the peace and privacy that we get on the yacht."

Q: If you could describe the perfect relaxing weekend, what would it involve?

"It's easier to tell you what it wouldn't involve, there would be no telephones, no deadlines, no interviews! Serious though, I enjoy spending quite time with good friends, that's when I'm most relaxed."

Q: What is your favourite race of the remaining events on the calendar?

Suzuka is one of the most challenging circuit we have left this year with some fantastic high speed corners, that are great fun to drive. Monza will also provide some good racing."
