Nick Heidfeld:
"I am satisfied with the work we completed today. In fact, we struggled a bit this morning, because we continued the set-up adjustments with the new parts introduced last week in Barcelona. Therefore, it was a bit difficult to find the right balance, in the beginning, but we quickly made some consistent progress. I feel happy with today's final result and I think we can improve further tomorrow morning."

Jean Alesi:
"This is a circuit where; like Monaco, qualifying is extremely important and determines the race. Reliability is also important here since, on this circuit, the average speed is very low and the race can easily last two hours. We have worked well on the car today to gain every possible tenth and we will continue this way tomorrow to be at our best in the afternoon; when once again the qualifying session will be very close and very difficult."

Alain Prost:
"We have had no particular problems today and we have confirmed the positive work carried out last week at the test in Barcelona. Even if the circuit is very different, the new aerodynamic features have already given us a much greater range of choice for our set-ups on the car. We are satisfied with the work accomplished today and all the more so because we still have an interesting margin of further progress to come tomorrow and on Sunday."
