FERRARI WAIT UNTIL MONZA FOR FINAL FUEL CHOICE

Fuel

*Shell provides Ferrari with a number of different fuels, from which the team can chose the most suitable

*Due to impending testing data from the Monza circuit, Shell and Ferrari will be waiting until the last minute to select the most effective and efficient fuel

*Fuel consumption is higher than normal in Monza, due to the higher average speeds. This makes fuel and pit stop strategy vital to race success.

Lubricant

*Periods of hard and sustained running, on the long straights in Monza, mean the Shell engine lubricant will be working hard to protect the Ferrari engine

*Ferrari will use Shell Helix SL907 engine lubricant and Shell Spirax L6285 gearbox oil

*Fresh engines for both Ferrari drivers and a high speed 'engine breaking' circuit, make the aggressive nature of the Shell Helix engine oil well suited to this weekend's race
