Comments from the MF1 team after testing at Silverstone

Dominic Harlow, Chief Race and Test Engineer:

"The primary test items for today were a major front suspension update and a tyre programme for the forthcoming European races. The team carried out a busy programme encompassing a full factorial setup sweep for the suspension developments and some aerodynamic testing."

"The tyre work was limited due to the weather conditions, with a couple of showers wetting the track for 30% of the day. This made it somewhat difficult to evaluate the full performance potential of the upgrades we've introduced, but based on our extrapolations they should perform as expected under race conditions."

Christijan Albers:

"Overall, it was a pretty productive day, despite the conditions. Although it is difficult to say for certain, we have made some improvements to the car's handling in corner entry and braking situations. We still have more work to do, but I think it should be another good step forward."
