Chassis programme
The drivers concentrated on set-up work during race distance running.

Tyre programme
Work continued with both cars on tyre selection for the first races of the season.

Other Notes
Jarno Trulli completed the mileage on his A spec Melbourne engine during a morning race distance. With poor weather forecast for tomorrow, Fernando Alonso attempted to run a full weekend mileage during the day, but fell short owing to numerous red flags. He will complete his engine mileage tomorrow.

Pat Symonds, Executive Director of Engineering:

"Once more, the team experienced a productive day's work. We ran a huge number of laps, and indeed Jarno reached a record engine mileage on his 'A' spec unit. Both drivers have continued to be positive in their feedback throughout their race distances, and the car is very consistent on long runs. Poor weather is forecast for tomorrow, but we will make the most of our track time, whatever the conditions."

Jarno Trulli
Chassis: R24-01
79 laps, 390 km
Best time: 1:21.241

Fernando Alonso
Chassis: R24-02
108 laps, 533 km
Best time: 1:21.683
