Rosberg: It's not just one thing that is wrong

Nico Rosberg says there is no specific area that he needs to improve to end teammate Lewis Hamilton's run of victories ahead of this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix.

The British driver has won three of the first four races of the year, having started all of them from pole position.

Rosberg last beat his teammate in last year's Brazilian Grand Prix, and is already 27 points behind in the championship.

But despite having failed to match Hamilton's form, Rosberg says it is not a single aspect that he needs to work on, and he reckons he just needs things to come together.

"It is just a weekend itself coming together, optimising it," said Rosberg of his problems during Thursday's press conference in Barcelona.

"It has not come together yet; we put all the pieces together, there are not specific areas, just general.

"It is just a matter of maximising the weekend, it has not really come together until now. Parts have gone well and other parts not so well, I just need to put it all together and I will start to do that from here onwards."

The German said his confidence had been boosted after his performance in the Bahrain Grand Prix, where he finished third.

"I come here after a personal feeling boost from Bahrain. I want to optimise this weekend, that is it. I am not thinking much more than that," he said.
