Team RED BULL SAUBER PETRONAS today completed a successful three-day test at Monza, Italy, in readiness for the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal next weekend. Nick Heidfeld took over the driving from Kimi Raikkonen, and set the time of 1m 25.256s during the course of 64 laps.

Jacky Eeckelaert (Head of Test Team): " We had a good day with Nick Heidfeld. This morning we concluded our aerodynamic testing programme and our tyre selection for the Canadian Grand Prix, and we were satisfied with the results. We had a good morning, hampered only by the need to replace a malfunctioning sensor.

"This afternoon Nick switched to the development programme for our hydraulic differential, and again we were very pleased with the outcome as the car behaved perfectly throughout."

Nick Heidfeld: "I was happy with the way that we had the car set up today. It felt in reasonable shape and we were able simply to fine tune the handling with small adjustments during the course of carrying out our overall programme. This afternoon we did a lot of data acquisition work on the new differential, with positive results."
