Felipe Massa concluded Team Sauber Petronas' third day test at Silverstone in Northamptonshire today in preparation for the Spanish Grand Prix at Barcelona on April 28. He recorded 45 laps and set a time of 1m23.375s.

Remi Decorzent (Race engineer):

"While Felipe learned the circuit this morning we were able to carry out consolidation of the aerodynamic work that Nick did over the last two days, although we were hampered slightly by a strong wind and mid-afternoon, by heavy showers. Nevertheless we have been able to complete our various programs in preparation for Barcelona next weekend and for the British Grand Prix in July. This afternoon we were also able to do some more tyre development for Bridgestone. Altogether it's been a very satisfactory test for us."

Felipe Massa:

"Siverstone was a new circuit for me and I really like it. There are quite a lot of quick corners and it is not so easy to get familiar with, but I was happy to be very close to Nick's lap time from yesterday. That was not such a bad beginning! We worked on the balance of my car and also we have done some good work here this week, which will help us in Spain. This test has also allowed me to learn the Silverstone circuit which most of the other drivers know so well, before the British Grand Prix."

Temperature: air 50, track 120
Weather: Sunny, dry and windy in the morning, wet in the afternoon
Track length: 5,14 kilometres
Felipe Massa - 45 laps - 231.30 kilometres
