Sauber's Felipe Massa was third quickest at Catalunya, racking up the most laps of the day with 109. The Brazilian worked on aerodynamics and tyres to wind up Sauber's test week. Jaguar test driver Björn Wirdheim was fifth fastest.

At Jerez Jenson Button set the best of the day, 1:17.195 for the BAR driver. Team tester Anthony Davidson was third quickest. Wiliams wrapped up their test with Marc Gené second on the time sheet and Antonio Pizzonia sixth. Both worked on set up, system checks and tyres.
