HRT F1 Team, Hispania Racing sets sights on double-finish in Turkey Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Istanbul - After a two-week break following the Monaco Grand Prix, Formula 1 returns to Istanbul in Turkey. The circuit offers a number of slow corners connected by a few short straights. The circuit is one of few that run in a counter-clockwise direction and offers a number of elevation changes. Top speed is critical on the back on the back straigt just before the two corners that lead into the main straight.

HRT F1 Team, Hispania Racing, is looking forward to returning to action and aiming to continue its trend of progress and get both Bruno Senna and Karun Chandhok's cars to the chequered flag.

Dr. Colin Kolles, team principal of the Spanish Team, commented: "Even if our drivers have driven already on the track, it will be the first time for our team in Turkey, where we expected to run with a high downforce configuration. It is so different from Monaco, though and much wider here. With its mix of slow technical, medium and fast corners, we hope to get closer to other teams even if this makes it another tough race on cars and drivers".

Bruno Senna: "I drove on two occasions in Turkey. This experience gave me a fairly reasonable idea of the difficulties. It will be a tough weekend with an interesting combination of bumps and high-speed corners that will make it challenging for our car. But this level of difficulty makes it interesting and will go for it as we need to make another good two-car finish to improve our teams championship classification".

Karun Chandhok: "I am looking forward to racing in Istanbul after our strong showing in Monaco. It is a shame it had to end the way it did but the team can be very proud as we did a good job there. Turkey will be a completely different challenge to Monaco. I have gone well in Istanbul over the last couple of years in GP2 and was also leading the race in 2007 before I was forced to retire. There is a good balance of corners here, specially turn 8, which is quite a challenge and very long, fast with the triple apex. Taking care of the tyres on the high-speed corners will be crucial to the outcome of the race. The team is definitely encouraged after Monaco and we will continue to do our best to get the best possible result".
