Test Objectives
Set-up of the Williams BMW FW27 in preparation for the Spanish Grand Prix

Summary
Tim Newton (Test Team Manager, WilliamsF1):

"The predicted wet weather front arrived slightly earlier than we thought it would this morning but we still managed to get a few hours of dry running. This afternoon's session, however, was severly hampered by heavy rain showers.

"During the time we had on track, Mark and Antonio concentrated on wet tyre testing, set-up work and systems checks. The front seems to be moving fairly quickly so we will hopefully be able to get a dry days' running tomorrow."

Nico Rosberg will make his debut for the team tomorrow following the announcement that the German has signed to be the team's second official test driver. Nico will join Mark Webber for the second day of the Silverstone test.

Mark Webber
69 laps, 1:23.901
Antonio Pizzonia
42 laps, 1:24.903
