Weekend G.P. Le Mans: In France Draco wants the revenge

There is no rest for Draco Drivers who, after Nurburgring, have been transferred to Le Mans for the seventh championship.

In the German circuit the team won important points for the final classification but the placements were not those expected due to some electric problems of the enigne. As Bertrand Baguette said after the weekend " the free practise started really well with very quick laps. We expected to be strong during the qualifying and it was the case during the first part of it. I took the quickest lap for a long time before coming in the box to change the tyres. After that a red flag obliged us to switch off the engine. When I wanted to restart, impossible the battery was dead. We started the first race P20 and thanks to a good start and some disqualifications we finished P5. I was P10 on the grid of the second one. My team did a great strategy and I could overtake nearly 3 drivers in the pit. I finished P5 finally. Looking at the qualification it's a great result but we had the possibility to do a lot more without the problem of battery. Anyway we will be strong in Le Mans for sure and we'll be fighting for the first position again."

In fact, after the disqualification in race 2 of the winner Duran (Interwetten), Baguette was 5 o. and now he is in 4o.position in the championship classification, very close to the third. In Nurbugring even the Spanish Marco Barba had some electrical problem, but in both races he had see his talent with a fast driving and several overtaking.

Today, Thursday, 4 September, the collective tests begin in the Bugatti circuit, about 5 km from the town of Le Mans, France. The circuit, born in 2002, was derived partly from the classic circuit de la Sarthe and it is 4,185 metres long.
