Opel Racing Lausitz report

Germany - Pantano strengthens F3 lead.

Giorgio Pantano (Opel Team KMS Dallara/Opel) strengthened his lead of the German Formula 3 Championship with a third and fifth place finish at the rain-hit Lausitz EuroSpeedway last weekend. He managed to distance himself from Andre Lotterer (Opel Team BSR Dallara/Opel) whose poor performance in the first (18-lap) of two races saw him finish down in 12th place.

However, the title challenger bounced back with a strong second place in the second (17-lap) race - a race won by Alex Mueller (Dallara/Honda) who now moves into third place in the championship as a new title contender.
