Facu Regalia keeps working in the set-up
The Spanish-Argentinean driver completed today his first test day of the two that BMW scheduled to Silverstone with good conclusions, and tomorrow expects to be among the fastest drivers again.
Facu Regalia continued to work with Eifelland Racing to put his car at his taste, so he can tackle the Formula BMW Europe first round, that will be held at Circuit de Catalunya at May 7th and 8th, in good shape.
In the morning, all the drivers had the opportunity to do a race simulation and the eighteen years old driver signed the seventh fastest lap, the fastest among the Eifelland Racing drivers, as have been usual all pre- season testing.
At the end of the day, Facu Regalia said: "I would prefer to be nearer the top. However, we used just one set of tires, and the others teams used up to three. Besides, in my flying lap there were a red flag and, when I went to the track again, the tires' temperature drop off and lost grip".
However, the Spanish-Argentinean young gun took some positive reflexions from his first day at Silverstone: "I think that, if it doesn't rain tomorrow, the tires that I didn't use today can help me to reach the top positions. I want to find that half a second that is escaping from me and we, me and the team, are working flat-out to find it".
