Strous shines in Valencia!
The Circuit of Valencia has been the third venue in the Eurocup's Formula Renault testing calendar. Junior Strous (1.32.421) set the fastest time in the Spanish Circuit which will be holding the Spanish debut of the World Series by Renault in June 5.
Spanish nicest weather has been the perfect host for the 33 drivers taking part in the third official pre-season test. Teams and drivers profited the best track conditions for testing different set-up solutions over these two days.
Epsilon Euskadi has named Bertrand Baguette and Juan Antonio del Pino as 2005 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 drivers. The Team has a third car but the driver is still TBA.
Drivers are keen to start their European tour in Zolder (April 30) but they will still have one more opportunity to test their best performance next week in Oschersleben (Germany).
Wstley Barber (Comtec Racing) ,winner of the first French Formula Renault race in Nogaro, and Kamui Kobayashi (Prema Power Team) were the strongest drivers in the previous testing sessions celebrated in Monza and Le Mans.
