FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE JANUARY 11, 1997
(NASHVILLE, IND.) - MotorSports PhotoSource, a stock and assignment photography agency that specializes in motorsports images, has announced the creation of an online division.
MotorSports PhotoSource OnLine was created to provide the Internet community access to racing news, photographs, information and opinions through its web site.
Upon reaching the MSPS site at http://members.aol.com/msps01/msps01.htm, the user is greeted with an index of pages within the web site. By selecting the page of their choice a visitor can find viewable photographs, locate racing schedules, results and point standings, read an opinion column or subscribe to the free MotorSports PhotoSource OnLine News Service.
By subscribing to the news service a visitor will receive e-mailed news briefs regarding fast-breaking motorsports news as well as a regular newsletter.
In addition, the MSPS OnLine web site offers links to many other popular motorsports-related web sites and several top photography-related sites.
"Prior to now, MotorSports PhotoSource has dealt only with providing photographs to others in the racing and publishing industries," said Rodney A. Margison, owner of MotorSports PhotoSource. "Now we can provide that and more to a growing segment of the general population by way of the Internet."
In the future MotorSports PhotoSource OnLine intends to offer MotorSports PhotoSource racing apparel and licensed racing products for sale through their World Wide Web location.
