Anthony Davidson Donington Park qualifying

BIC sponsored, Formula Ford driver, Anthony Davidson, set 3rd fastest time in qualifying in the 2nd round of the Slick 50 Formula Ford ZETEC Championships at Donington Park today. Davidson's 1 min 12.787 sec lap of the 1.9573 mile circuit made him the fastest Mygale runner in the field.

Davidson, was just .342 of a second behind Australian driver, James Courtney, who took pole and .040 of a second behind fellow Brit, Gary Catt, who took 2nd place. Both drivers in the works Van Diemens.

"After all the rain on the circuit the conditions were good today and I set a good time without a tow. Qualifying 3rd has put me in a great position for tomorrows race."
