Steyr-Puch Manx Rally Final Classification

Here is the final classification for the Steyr-Puch Manx Rally, the 3rd round of the Mintex National Rally Series which ran on Saturday 10th May on closed public roads in the Isle of Man.

Dr. J and Bodine

Dr. J and Joe Washington were planning on getting involved in NASCAR. Teams that the could be involved with are the 27 David Blair Motorsports team and the 7 odine racing team There is a possibility of parternships for these guys. These are rumors at this point.

Penske Team Troubles?

After Saturday's race, crew chief Robin Pemberton said he felt like his driver was "making rookie mistakes."

This apparently goes back to Sonoma when Rusty was leading and had the only car that may have been able to beat Martin, until the Miller Lite T-bird went off course when Rusty drove into a turn too deep. The car later expired when Rusty said he missed a shift.

Then Saturday, Rusty once again had a strong horse, but left the pits too early on the first green flag stop and didn't get enough fuel. Out of sequence on the stops, he overshot his pit the second time in. The motor eventually failed, but Pemberton is apparently just livid and feels Rusty isn't using his head.

There is some kind of staff meeting today to discuss all the problems...
