Donington drama for Aaron's Ultima team.
Unlucky start for British GT Championship hopeful.
Surrey race ace Aaron Scott (www.aaronscott.co.uk) and the Ultima team, experienced a disappointing start to the British GT Championship at Donington Park last weekend. Aaron was looking forward to making his British GT debut in the Ultima run by Master Motorsport and co driven by Steve Brady, but was dogged by technical problems with the new GTO spec car which meant that the team faced a race against time to get the car out on the grid.
Unfortunately despite all the hard work, the Ultima was forced into early retirement from the race with oil pressure problems. Aaron will be racing next at round two of the British GT Champion at Snetterton on April 20.
"We have a fair bit of work to do ahead of the next race," said Aaron. "We need to work on the Ultima's reliability to help us get enough miles under our belt to truly know the car. All the ingredients needed for a competitive race-car are there, and we are looking forward to Snetterton where I am confident we can turn things around."
