The new executive structure will include two executive vice presidents
and three vice presidents, all reporting to Tony George. They are:
Jeff Belskus EVP Administration & Operations
Bill Donaldson EVP Marketing & Sales
Curtis Brighton VP & General Counsel
Leo Mehl VP & Executive Director of the Indy Racing League
Fred Nation VP Corporate Communications
Only Mehl and Nation are new to the IMS family. Mehl retired in 1996
from Goodyears where he was in charge of that company's world wide
racing operations. Nation most recently was press secretary to Indiana
Governor Evan Bayh.
Jack Long was highly praised in the official release and George indicated the IRL hopes to work with Long in the future. Further details in the IMS official release. Len in Indy
