Manufacturer's Cup Series Adds Class

02.05.2009 - Starting with the MRP Speed School Nationals at Michiana Raceway Park, May 1-3 in South Bend, Indiana, WKA Officials have agreed to add an additional class to the weekend race program for the George Kugler Bridgestone Manufacturer's Cup Series Driven by Mazda.

The Yamaha Sportsman Heavy class will be added as part of the 9-class Saturday schedule, positioned in the 8th slot between Yamaha Junior Lite and HPV Lite. The Yamaha Sportsman class, already part of the Sunday race order, will remain intact with the same rules. The Yamaha Sportsman Heavy class will run with a minimum weight requirement of 260 lbs. All other rules for the class will follow the Yamaha Sportsman class.
