WKA Road America Event Planning And Entry Forms Taking Shape

05.18.2009 - In an effort to provide the most accurate and detailed event information with the initial release of the entry forms, WKA officials will meet with the Road America staff on Tuesday, May 19, to finalize event planning and logistics for the ZoomZoom Nationals on July 10-12, featuring the Dunlop Tire Road Racing Series and George Kugler / Bridgestone Manufacturer's Cup Series, both driven by Mazda.

This year's doubleheader event will mark the Manufacturer's Cup Series' first visit to the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex, which will host stop No. 3 of the five-race 2009 tour. WKA plans to run a schedule very similar to the schedule of the recently completed Manufacturer's Cup event at MRP.

The Road Race event on the historic four-mile course will be stop No. 5 on the nine-race series and marks WKA's return to Road America following a 13-year break in national activity. Many local option classes, in addition to the series point classes, will be offered at this year's Road Race national event.
