Addendum to Previous Release: Cicconi Back Up to Fifth; Heydenreich Improving

MECHANICSBURG, Pa., April 6 - According to ARDC Business Manager Mike Roselli Sr. on Sunday afternoon, Bob Cicconi's protest of the decision to penalize him two positions for jumping a restart in Saturday night's ARDC CARQUEST Midget Series feature at Silver Spring Speedway here has been upheld.

The Prospect Park, Pa. driver moves back up to fifth place behind winner Ed Stimely Jr., Brian Seidel, Tom Fraschetta and Michael Roselli Jr. Trailing Cicconi to round out the top 10 are Randy Mausteller, Shannon Mausteller, Gary Mondschein, Gary Halteman and Monnie Wonder III.

On Sunday John Heydenreich was moved to room 3220 of the Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa. He suffered a head injury in a violent crash on lap 20 during the feature event.

"I've just got some IVs and stuff in me, and I may be out of here pretty soon," Heydenreich said by telephone at 6 p.m. Sunday. "They say I have some blood splatters on my brain, which will be absorbed naturally as I get better. They say that's very common if you get hit as hard as I did. I have a little problem with my memory of what happened yesterday, but I should get out of the hospital in a day or two. I'll be O.K."
