Aledo, IL (June 7, 2001) The Winged Three-Quarter Midget Association has = yet to make an appearance at the Aledo Raceway in Aledo, IL after two = cancellations during the month of May. Rain has been a factor in the = last two attempts the WTQMA has made to race at the small county = fairgrounds located just West of town.
The weather for Saturday looks good with partly cloudy skies, warm = temperatures and no rain in the forecast.=20
Races on the 1/4 mile semi-banked clay oval are set to begin at 7pm. = Other classes scheduled to be attending are modifieds, limited late = models, street stocks, cruisers and 2-man thunder cars.
