Rolfo progresses even with some set up problems

Valencia -- Spain, November 1, 2003. Roberto Rolfo continued his search for solutions to some of the niggling set up problems he has experienced in qualifying, basically with the front end of his Fortuna Honda. The 3/10ths f a second improvement he made over yesterday didn't help him climb up the starting grid for the Community of Valencia GP. Tomorrow Rolfo must push hard, at maximum so as not to loose contact with the leading group.

The set up problems have not left the Fortuna Honda team rider unduly concerned as he hopes to find the required solutions in the pre-race warm up. Following qualifying Rolfo held a long meeting with the team technicians in order to identify the best solution.

"We could not solve all our problems in the final qualifying session today. The front end feels too heavy going into the corners and that restricts me from riding naturally and safely, in the way I should." Explained Rolfo.

"We've been talking over a lot of aspects and have tested two possible solutions but neither was adequate. We have more ideas to try and we have to push hard to find answers to the questions. Anyway we are not far from where we need to be and we must not loose our concentration." Manifested the confident Fortuna Honda rider.

"We have been in this position on several occasions and I think, just like before, that we will find the solutions we need. The most important thing is for me to be alert and make a good start when the lights go on. After that the race will decide where the title goes but we are going to give everything we have and fight for the title to the very last corner." Concluded a determined Rolfo.
