Ben Hess Crashed hard in Practice and is at Methodist Hospital with a concussion and leg injury.

In qualifying Joe Heath also hit hard in turn two, Possible concussion, sent to Methodist. Lance Wade spun but missed the wall. Stan Fox hit the wall in turn 4. Dick Trickle brushed the wall in 4 too, but completed his run. Loy Allen lost it down the back stretch. 48W, I didn't catch the driver's name, the last guy out, smoked on his attempt, DNF as he shut it down.
