DAVID GILLILAND, YATES RACING
Driver David Gilliland on Chicago:
"I really enjoy night races and I think it's going to be a fun weekend at Chicagoland Speedway since this will be the first race we've run there under the lights. I really like Chicago because it's a fast race track and there have just been a lot of good races there which have been exciting for the fans to watch. I think that night racing will be even more exciting for the fans and I truly think that Saturday night at Chicago will be another great show. It's just a great race track because it's racy and fast, and I definitely think the speeds are going to be a lot faster there at night than we are accustomed to. There just isn't anything more exciting for drivers and fans than racing under the lights, so I'm really looking forward to this weekend."
Crew chief Cully Barraclough on Chicago:
"This is a brand new car that we're bringing with us this weekend to Chicago and I'm looking forward to seeing how our car runs during practice and the race itself. This is the first time this new chassis style has raced at Chicago, and with it also being the first time we've raced under the lights at Chicago, I think it's going to be an exciting race. As far as preparing our car for this weekend, we have been reviewing our notes from Texas since those are the same tires we'll be running this weekend. David (Gilliland) enjoys night racing on fast tracks so we're hoping to have a strong finish Saturday night."
Gilliland will sign autographs at the Ford Racing merchandise trailer on Saturday, July 12th at 3:00pm
Chassis #462 is the chassis the #38 FreeCreditReport.com team will be running this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway. This is a brand new chassis for the team.
