Dover: Bobby Hamilton Jr. preview

Located in Kenton, DE, Shure-Line Construction was formed in August of 1991, by its current vice president Mr. Vernon Wright, who has over 45 years of varied construction experience. Since its founding, the company has expanded their business into two other areas with the creation of Shure-Line Electrical and Shure-Line Excavating.

Shure-Line president, Jeff Stoneberger is pleased to be able to continue its partnership with Team Rensi Motorsports.

Bobby Hamilton, Jr. on Dover:
"I really like Dover because it's a challenge. It's quick for a one mile track so you always have to be on your toes and be aware of what the other guys are doing around you. There are usually a lot of accidents and they happen fast. It's is always a pretty exciting race that produces lots of beating and banging. You have to be patient, miss all of the accidents and keep your fenders on your car to have a top-ten or top-five finish there."

Fred Wanke on Dover:
"They don't call it the Monster Mile for nothing. It's very demanding track, on the car as well as the driver. The driver has to like racing there. If they don't, they're usually in for a miserable day. Tire-wear has always been a concern at Dover, but with the tires Goodyear is making this year I don't think it will be as big a factor as in the past. To get a good, strong finish at Dover you need a good handling race car, you need to maintain your track position and you need to stay out of trouble. Too bad it's not as simple as it sounds!"

Equipment:
Hamilton, Jr., who currently sits eighth in the Busch Series points standings and just 74 points out of fifth place, will be driving "Devil Dog" this weekend in Dover. "Devil Dog" is the same car he raced to a third place finish in Nashville and an eighth place finish in Texas.
