"New Hampshire is a real funny track to get a grip on. It's tough to figure
out, but when you do you can run awesome there. I've been hit or miss there
in the past. The race in 99' we almost had on fuel mileage. Jimmy
(Elledge, crew chief of the #55) had us pit out of sequence and then we were
able to go the rest of the way and almost won. We just came up a tad
short."

WALLACE ON NEW HAMPSHIRE INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY--
"I really like going to New Hampshire. The track has made some wonderful improvements and they just keep making it better in so many ways. They repaved the corners with some new pavement that they know will withstand the temperatures and shouldn't pull up like they've seen in the past. I think that will really help with getting the grip, but also keeping the grip and not putting the tires at risk for excessive wear.
"New Hampshire will also add the softer walls after this weekend. They feel strongly about the soft walls and I think it's great they're going to install them. They (Bahres) keep raising the bar for the other track owners. They just do an incredible job."
STACKER 2 TEAM TESTED AT INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY THIS WEEK--
"We tested in Indy Monday and Tuesday and then had to stay over Wednesday because we got rained out on Tuesday. We were a little off when we unloaded, but I am real proud of where we are now. We made a ton of gains and I know we can return know and have something to work with. Our goal is to go back to Indy and be competitive and have a shot of a good finish. This team is really coming together and I'm really excited about it."
