Looking ahead to Michigan, what are your expectations for this weekend?

"I enjoy racing at Michigan. California and Michigan are two tracks that share a lot of similarities so I think we should have a pretty good race based on what we were able to accomplish when we were in California at the start of our season. I think recognizing the elements between similar tracks allows drivers to have a little bit of confidence when you race at tracks that you know how the car will react based on past performances. I think most drivers will agree that Michigan is a great track to race at because we can race any line on the track and can safely race three-wide due to all the room we have. Our expectations for this weekend are that we're going to secure another solid performance for this FreeCreditReport.com Racing team and hopefully move up in the point standings."

How does the team prepare for racing at Michigan this weekend?

"Michigan is usually compared to California since both are 2.0-mile tracks, and while they are similar, we've found that they do vary quite a bit as well. The corners at Michigan have a little more banking and Michigan seems to suit the Cup cars pretty well. In the fact that, there is enough room to race any lane at Michigan since the track surface is wide enough to allow three-wide racing safely. We ran fairly well at California earlier this season so if we can anticipate some of our performance this weekend, based off our results at California, I'd guess that we'll have a pretty solid run at Michigan this weekend for our FreeCreditReport.com Ford."
