Speedway winning track championships while following in the footsteps of his racing father, Bob... Bob raced stock cars in Asheville, N.C., area and continues to race - and win - on Carolinas short tracks... In 1988, Robert teamed with new owner - and Cleveland Cavaliers center - Brad Brad Daughtery to form Busch Grand National team. Pressley won one race in '89 as a rookie... In those days, he drove a Coca-Cola delivery truck when not racing... Cpompeting in '95 for Maxx Race Cards Rookie of the Year honors.

Brother Charley Pressley is a fromer short-track driver and now serves as a crew chief on Skoal Bandit Racing team... Robert and his three borthers spent after-school and weekend time helping their dad's race efforts.
