SORENSON FASTEST DURING MORNING SESSION OF FINAL DAY OF NASCAR BUSCH SERIES TESTING AT RICHMOND INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY

March 30, 2006- With 18 cars still remaining for the third and final day of NASCAR Busch Series testing at Richmond International Raceway, Reed Sorenson was fastest during the morning session. Sorenson recorded a best lap of 125. 506 mph (21.513 seconds) and was followed by Mark McFarland, John Andretti, Kevin Harvick and Jason Keller on the speed chart. The test session concludes at 9:00 p.m. this evening.

Sorenson is one of seven drivers pulling double duty this season in both the NASCAR Busch Series and NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series. Those other drivers are Denny Hamlin, Carl Edwards, Clint Bowyer, Kevin Harvick, J.J. Yeley and Kyle Busch. They will be joined at Richmond International Raceway for the Circuit City 250 Presented by FUNAI on Friday, May 5 by NASCAR NEXTEL Cup drivers Elliott Sadler, Jeff Burton, Greg Biffle, Kasey Kahne and Matt Kenseth to battle the stars of the NASCAR Busch Series. In addition to Sadler, Burton, Hamlin and McFarland, NASCAR Busch Series regulars Jon Wood, Stacy Compton, Ashton Lewis and Danny O'Quinn will all represent the Commonwealth of Virginia.
