High Expectations That He Will Lead Key Motorsports To Stro Showing

Altamonte Springs, FL/February 25, 2011 - NASCAR star Scott Wimmer returns to the Phoenix International Speedway on Saturday, February 26th for the Bashas' Supermarkets 200 driving the Key Motorsports #40 Chevrolet Impala in the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series season. Last season, in limited action, Wimmer led every race in which he competed, finishing with three Top-10's in just five races. He is hoping to build upon his recent run in Daytona at the for DRIVE4COPD 300.

"I am glad to be returning back to Phoenix," said Scott Wimmer. "The track has always been friendly to me. I think with the cars and team that Key Motorsports has assembled for 2011 is going to lead to a strong run this weekend. I'd like to bring Curtis and his team a much deserved Top-10 this weekend ."

Key Motorsports capped off a very consistent 2010 season by adding 20 Top-20 finishes, almost half of those Top-15's and multiple Top-10's to their credit. The team finished 21st in points the past two seasons and is determined to get over that hump into the Top-20 in Owners Points. Wimmer currently sits 24th in the Drivers Points Championship after the first round of the series at Daytona.
