The Glen 125K Race Notes & Quotes

Warm-up - #44 Marquis pits with a problem with the front brakes and possible a clutch problem. Marquis returns to track and will start at the end of the field.

LL 0 - #13 Christopher takes the green flag to start the race.

LL 3 - #81 Driver spins and continues.

LL 5 - #06 Boardwick (started 4th) spins and continues.

LL 6 - #42 Szegedy (started 9th) pits with a fuel pump problem.

LL 9 - #06 Boardwick reports that due to a transmission problem, he only has 4th gear.

LL 10 - Caution - Accident involving #75, #04, #98, #63 on backstretch.

LL 13 - Entire field pits under caution. #81 Driver is replaced by Neil Hopkins. (Driver's car had lost an engine yesterday and Driver qualified and started Hopkins' car.)

LL 14 - #06 Boardwick and #63 George return to garage with transmission problems. #97 Kirchman pits with an overheating condition.

LL 15 - #08 Berube spins in Turn 1. #00 Christopher pits with steering problems.

LL 16 - Caution - Turn 1 spin (#08 Berube). #16 Kopec stops on inner loop. #77 Blewett off course and being pushed in.

LL 17 - Race restarts.

LL 19 - #3 Cravenho's crew indicates that they "have enough for Christopher. We're just biding our time."

LL 20 - #76 Zeiner (started 2nd) reports that he's not shifting due to a transmission problem.

LL 21 - Caution - #99 Tomaino off course in Turn 3. #21 Ewanitsko (started 5th) pits with a rear suspension problem.

LL 22 - Race restarts.

LL 26 - Caution - Oil on backstretch due to #08 Berube's blown engine.

LL 28 - Can you make it to the front? #3 Cravenho: We can do it; we just need a few caution-free laps. #44 Marquis: We have a 3rd or 4th place car; we don't have enough for the leader.

LL 30 - Race restarts.

LL 32 - #4 Connelly (running 3rd), #3 Cravenho (running 2nd) and #03 Boehler spin in the inner loop. Race completes as #13 Christopher takes the checkered flag, followed by #44 Marquis and #5 Pasteryak.
