SES: Winchester starting grid

The starting lineup has been finalized for the $86,925 29th Annual Snap-On Tools/Roger Holdeman Memorial Winchester 400 set to take the green flag on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. CDT. Milford, Ohio's Jeff Fultz captured his first Bud Pole Award of 1998, and second of his career in the Slim Jim All Pro Series, part of NASCAR's Touring Division, to lead the 29-car field to the start.

Fultz wheeled his Jani-King Chevrolet Monte Carlo around the 0.500 mile high-banked oval on Friday afternoon in a time of 15.990 seconds at an average speed of 112.570 mph. Fultz ticked off the fast lap on his second of two qualifying laps, and he was the last of 28 cars to take to the track. Series point leader Hal Goodson shares the front row with Fultz.

Bahama, N.C.'s Scott Riggs paced second round qualifying, landing himself in the 21st starting spot. Had Riggs participated in first round qualifying he would have secured the fifth starting position.
