RACECAR TRAILER CONVOY SCHEDULED FOR ST. AUGUSTINE

ST. AUGUSTINE, FLA.- NASCAR Goody's Dash Series car haulers are beginning to be a common sight in St. Augustine as the July 24 race date draws ever closer. Many teams are already in town doing pre-race personal and show car appearances at various locations. If you haven't seen them yet, your best opportunity to see all the big haulers will be Saturday morning in the Wal-Mart parking lot on US 1 in St. Augustine. As many as 30 race car haulers are scheduled to assemble in the parking lot beginning at 9 AM to form a convoy of racecar trailers which will travel up US 1 to St. Augustine Speedway at approximately 10:15. Race fans are invited to come by and chat with the teams, get autographs and have photos made with your favorite drivers during the brief time that they will be there. The racecar procession is in preparation for the 3rd annual Gold Star Dodge Dealers 100 presented by NAPA Saturday night at the St. Augustine Speedway. Grandstand gates will open for this event Saturday afternoon at 4:30, Qualifying for the Goody's Dash Series will begin at 6:00 and The 3rd annual Gold Star dodge dealers 100 presented by NAPA will get underway at 7:30.
