PHOENIX, Ariz. - Scott Lynch took the victory in the Subway 150 at Phoenix International Raceway on Sunday to notch his second consecutive win in the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series.

Lynch waged a fierce battle with Johnny Borneman midway through the race and then held off Scott Gaylord in the closing laps.

Mike Duncan, who led the championship standings coming into the event, led the first 19 laps before encountering mechanical trouble that sidelined him for more than 25 laps and left with a 19th-place finish. His lead in the point standings dwindled to just 48 points over Austin Cameron, who finished seventh.
