STOCKTON, Calif. - Austin Cameron took advantage of lapped traffic to make a late-race pass for the lead and win the Havoline/NAPA Auto Parts 150 NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series event at Stockton 99 Speedway on Saturday.
Cameron slipped to the inside of Mike Duncan as the pair battled through lapped traffic with just seven laps remaining. He held off Duncan in the closing laps to win by .229 of a second.
Series rookie David Gilliland crossed the line in third, followed by Tavo (C.T.) Hellmund and Tim Smith.
The win was Cameron's ninth career victory and his second consecutive win on Stockton's historic quarter-mile oval.
