ROCKSTAR Energy Drink Toyota Runs Best of 4.895 Seconds

COMMERCE, Ga., April 28, 2007 -- Jerry Toliver continues to see progress in the performance of his new ROCKSTAR Energy Drink Toyota Solara and knows it's only a matter of time before he'll be qualifying for NHRA national events.

The car went down the track four straight times -- 5.293, his best of 4.895, 5.111 and 4.902 seconds attempting to qualify for Sunday's race. He needed a 4.801 to make the show.

"The runs were just weak," said the driver from Temecula, Calif. "We just need to make laps to figure out the race car. We did get a lot of things fixed since our last race (at Las Vegas, April 14), and that includes the driver. I get more comfortable in the car on every run."

Toliver and the team will continue their search for a starting position in the O'Reilly Midwest Nationals, May 4-6, at St. Louis.
