Will still focused on winning

ENNIS, Texas (September 22, 2007) -- Hillary Will, drove her KB Racing LLC-owned, Kalitta Motorsports-managed Top Fuel dragster to the No. 14 qualifying position at the 22nd running of the O'Reilly Fall Nationals .

Will came out strong during Friday's initial qualifying run, when she stopped the finish line timers in 4.630 seconds at 315.64 mph. In the night session, she lost traction and coasted to an 8.068.

After smoking the tires on Friday night, Will rebounded in Saturday's first qualifying session running another 63. This time it was a 4.631-second elapsed time at 315.64 mph. In the final session, she once again lost traction and smoke the tires in the heat of the day.

Will begins her quest for the O'Reilly Fall Nationals Top Fuel event title when Top Fuel eliminations get underway at the Texas Motorplex tomorrow. She lines up opposite her teammate Doug Kalitta in the opening round.

"It's kind of a shame we have to race our Kalitta Motorsports teammate in the first round," said Will, following qualifying. "We'd rather be meeting him in the finals. Everybody at Kalitta Motorsports works really hard and it's a true team effort. So to race each other first round is a bummer. Doug (Kalitta) and the Mac Tools team kicked our butts last year, so we hope it will be payback time tomorrow. We really want to put this KB Racing "Support our Troops and Families" dragster in the winner's circle."
