BAYTOWN, Texas - Several new Federal Mogul Dragster teams will be testing this weekend at Houston Raceway Park. In addition, experienced Federal Mogul Funny Car pilot Todd Simpson will be in attendance as well.
In the Federal Mogul Dragster category, newcomers Erica Walsh-Credeur and Jason Canon will be try to get valuable seat time under the watchful eye of tuning consultant Tom Conway. Walsh-Credeur is the daughter of former "Rajin' Cajun" Federal Mogul Funny Car pilot Ron Walsh , and raced in Super Comp before stepping up to FMD. Canon has worked his way up through the Super Comp ranks as well, and will be behind the wheel of Michael Gunderson's former Division 2 Champion Blown Alcohol Dragster.
Simpson who is this past year's O'Reilly Fall Nationals Champion, will be making laps to get used to this year's new rules.
Testing will be on both Saturday and Sunday, and is open to any racer on both days.
