Anaheim, Calif. (Dec. 3, 2001) -- Top racers in four professional categories of the NHRA POWERADE Drag Racing Series will compete for additional bonuses of $1,185,000 in 2002 through the POWERADE Top 10 program, which allows fans to follow POWERADE championship contenders as they pursue their respective titles. The top 10 drivers entering each race in Top Fuel and Funny Car receive $2,000, and the 10 leading Pro Stock racers receive $1,000 each. Another $2,500 is paid at each of the 14 races that include Pro Stock Motorcycle racing. The top 10 riders entering each Pro Stock Motorcycle event receive $250 each.
