NHRA LUCAS OIL EVENT AT NO PROBLEM RACEWAY RESCHEDULED
GLENDORA, Calif. -- This weekend's NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at No Problem Raceway has been rescheduled for February 29-March 2. Persistent rain in the area has saturated the grounds of the facility and NHRA and track officials opted to change the date.
"The facility is soaked right now and the weather forecast through the weekend calls for more rain," said NHRA South Central division director Craig Hutchinson. "Track owner Pat Joffrion and I decided to make this call early in the week in hopes of keeping racers from incurring any extra travel expenses. We certainly look forward to seeing them all here in a couple of weeks."
For more information about the upcoming race at No Problem Raceway, call the track, (985) 369-3692 or visit www.NoProblemRaceway.com.
The race will be the first of six NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series events in NHRA's South Central division. The 44-race nation-wide series is contested in each of NHRA's seven geographic regions.
