Damien Faulkner took his second pole position of the weekend. Once again, it was Leicestershire's Robbie Kerr who was closest to the Irishman, with Jesper Carlsen and Justin Keen filling the second row for tomorrow afternoon's grid. Junior driver Bruce Jouanny had a better 2nd session to finish in an excellent 6th, just behind Jacky van der Ende.
Damien Faulkner knows he is in a strong position for the championship, as he will be starting ahead of Justin Keen in both races tomorrow. "I was very confident from the first session and I felt in control of the session. I was going even quicker when I got a bit ambitious and nearly lost it at Dingle Dell, so I backed off. There was no point in pushing hard because I was on pole and only had myself to beat. It's looking good for tomorrow."
Robbie Kerr was pleased to be starting the second race on the front row. "I have had some good starts this year and I'm sure I'll be able to do the same here. I've learnt some more about this circuit and so we should be strong for the races."
Jesper Carlsen was extremely pleased on his improvement from the morning session. "I'm still losing time from Hawthorns to the finish line, but I'm well pleased with this. I had a moment at Dingle Dell when the car launched over the hill. I did a 360 degree spin but, luckily, stayed on the track and I did my fastest time on the next lap."
