IFM: Alessandro Kouzkin Brands Hatch summary

Alessandro Kouzkin continued his great streak at Brands Hatch, in the fourth round of the International F. Master. The Italian driver, running for CRAM Competition, took an unprecedented 2nd win of the season at the age of 16. The result is magnified by a great recovery started after qualifying, when Kouzkin was forced to the back of the field for improving his marks on yellow flag conditions. On Race 1, he recovered up to 8th place, clinching the top spot for Race 2, then he mastered the pack at the start, showing huge maturity, and kept the spot until checkered.

"Practice went on quite good despite I didn't know the track, also considering the different weather conditions between the two sessions. On qualifying I scored the 8th fastest time, but things seemed grim after receiving a penalty forcing me to start from the rear. On race 1 I recovered well though, as I took the 8th spot and the pole on Race 2. At that point, also thanks to a good start, I put on a good gap, and managed it through the finish. Though I'm satisfied for my second win of the season, I hope to add some more to the toll in the final half of the season.
